How to Manage Submittals (Spec Sheets) in X-DRAW?

Overview


In X-DRAW, Submittals (Spec Sheets) management allows you to maintain and organize product specification sheets within a design.


Updating the Spec Sheet


Go to the View Docs page of the design for which you want to manage the submittals (spec sheets).


To manage the submittals (spec sheets), hover over the Submittals (Spec Sheets) option and click on the eye icon.




Once you click on it, it will take you to the Submittal page, where you can manage your products under submittals by clicking on the Manage Submittals option.





The Submittals Management window will open. Here, you will find two options:


  1. Upload Sheet: This option allows you to upload specification sheets for products that do not have any existing specification sheets.
  2. Replace Sheet: This option allows you to replace the existing specification sheet of a product with a new one.


Click on the “Upload Sheet” option to update the product specification sheet.




Click on the Upload Specs option, or you can directly paste your product specification sheet link into the Specs Link field.




Select the required specification sheet, then click the Open button to proceed.




After uploading the specifications sheet, click on the Update button to save and apply the changes.




Once the update is complete, review the updated specification details in the Submittals Management window.




The updated product will appear in the Table of Contents and Submittals section according to the defined sequence.




Replacing the Spec Sheet


Similarly, you can replace the specification sheet of your product with a new one by clicking on the Replace Sheet option.
