How to change Project ID and Proposal ID from default Settings?

Overview

Project ID and Proposal ID are automatically generated by default. However, you can customize these settings to match your organization’s internal numbering structure.


Steps to Change Project ID and Proposal ID.


  • From the Main Dashboard, click on the Settings option in the top-right profile area.



  • Once you click on it, you will find the Project & Proposal Numbering option under the Organization Settings tab.



  • Here, you can update your Project ID , Proposal ID and Change Order numbering.
  • After making the changes, click on Update Proposal ID and Update Project ID to save them.



Notes: Changes apply only to newly created Projects and Proposals. Existing IDs will not be modified retroactively. Only users with Admin or appropriate permissions can update ID settings.
