Can Project ID settings changes be reversed after saving?

Overview

Yes. Project ID settings can be updated at any time after they have been saved. Users with the appropriate permissions can modify the Project ID prefix, numbering format, or sequence through the organization settings whenever needed.

How It Works

If your organization needs to change the Project ID format after it has been configured, you can return to the Project & Proposal Numbering settings and update the configuration at any time.
This flexibility allows organizations to:

• Adjust naming conventions
• Correct formatting errors
• Update numbering standards
• Align Project IDs with evolving business processes and workflows

Once the updated settings are saved, the new configuration will be used for newly generated Project IDs.
