How Do I Add a Custom Labor Type for Service Calls?

Overview
X-PRO allows you to create custom Labor Types that can be used when scheduling and managing service calls. Custom Labor Types help categorize service work and ensure accurate labor tracking.


Steps to Add a Custom Labor Type


  • Click on the Profile icon in the top-right corner of the application. From the menu, select Settings.


  • From the Settings section, open X-PRO Settings to access additional configuration options within the system.


  • Within X-PRO Settings, locate the Service option and expand it to display the related service configuration items.


  • Under the expanded Service section, click on Labor Types to view the complete list of labor types configured in the application, where you can customize a labor type.

  • After clicking on the labor types. Click the + (Add) icon at the top of the Labor Types page.


  • Enter the required details, including: Labor Type, Name, Hourly Cost, Margin or Markup and Hourly Price. Click Save to create the new labor type.
