What is Re-Draw Device Option and how it works?

Overview:


The Re-Draw Device feature allows users to modify existing ports or add new ports to a product block in the X-DRAW Editor. When re-drawn, the existing connection lines are removed, so users must reconnect the required connections after updating the device.


  • To modify the ports of a product or add a new port, click on the Re-draw device option. The block will be displayed in the Line Schematics only after selecting this option.
  • You can add more ports or change your existing block in the X-DRAW Editor by selecting this option.
  • Go to the Search & Products section, then click the Edit option next to the item name.



  • You will be redirected to the Update Product Details page. Click the Re-Draw Device option, then select Add Product.


Note:


  • When you use the Re-Draw Device option, any existing connection lines linked to the block will be removed.
  • The block is recreated from scratch, so you will need to reconnect all required connections after modifying the device.
