How to create a custom package?

Overview

The Custom Package feature allows you to group multiple products together and save them as a single package. This helps you quickly add commonly used product combinations to your projects, saving time and maintaining consistency in your Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Create a design, using the X-DRAW method, and go to the 'Search & Add Products' page. Here you will find the option to add a custom item. Click on 'Add Custom Item' option.

• Select the "Package Product" option.

• Fill in the product details and then select the category of that custom package as per your requirements. Click on the 'Next' button.

• Once you click on it, it will you to the 'Add product to package page where you can search and add additional products to your package using the XTEN-AV library and My Library,

You can also copy your product from the XTEN-AV library to My library by clicking on the 'Copy to My lib' option and Adding/updating their port information by clicking on the 'Edit' icon next to the product name.

• Once you click on the edit option it will show you the product details, to add the port details you simply need to click on the add port option.

• Edit your product port information and Click on the 'Re-draw Device?' Option to view the updated port information in your X-DRAW Editor. Click on the Add product button to save your changes.

• After creating the Custom Package, it will appear in your BOM and X-DRAW Editor.
