Why is my product package not appearing in the generated Scope of Work?

Overview

If your Product Package is not appearing in the generated Scope of Work (SOW), it is usually due to the sequence in which the Scope of Work was generated and when the Product Package was added to the BOM. The Scope of Work only reflects the items that were included in the design at the time it was generated. If changes are made afterward, the SOW must be regenerated.


Step-by-Step Guide


Step 1: Generate the Scope of Work


  • Navigate to your Project page and open the Design then click on View Design Docs and Generate the Scope of Work (SOW). At this stage, the SOW will display all currently added products in the BOM.



Step 2: Add Product Package to BOM


  • Go back to the BOM section. Add the required Product Package and ensure the package is properly included in the design.


Step 3: Regenerate the Scope of Work

  • Return to **View Design Docs **and regenerate the **Scope of Work **the updated SOW will now include the newly added Product Package.

Note: The Scope of Work is a snapshot of your design at the time of generation. Any changes made after generating the SOW will not automatically reflect. You must regenerate the SOW to see newly added items, including Product Packages.
