How to Show/Hide details in X-DOC?

Introduction


The Show/Hide Details feature in X-DOC allows you to customize how your Bill of Materials (BOM) appears in the Rooms & Items section of your proposal. It allows you to select which columns to display or hide in the PDF version of the BOM. Here's how you can use this feature:


How to Use the Show/Hide Details Feature


  • Navigate to the Rooms & Items section of your proposal.
  • On the right-hand side of the page, click Show/Hide Details.



  • The Show/Hide Details dialog box will open. Select the BOM columns you want to show or hide in the PDF.
  • To display pricing as a lump sum, enable I don't want to show the line item pricing, only lump sum.
  • Click Save to apply your changes.
  • After saving, the Rooms & Items section will display only the selected columns, improving readability and keeping the focus on essential details.



To add the Equipment discount column in the Rooms & Items section, ensure to apply Equipment Discount on individual line items from the 'Rooms & Items Settings.' To add the Labor Column in the Rooms & Items section, make sure to select Per Item Labor in Settings.
