Designing the Custom Title Block

A blank canvas will appear where the title block can be designed.

Use the Shapes to start building the layout

Click Add (+) from the top toolbar to start building the layout.

  • Select Shape to add the required shapes, such as Rectangle, Ellipse, Rhombus, or Border.
  • Select Text to add the required details or labels on the canvas.
  • Select Link to insert a link on the canvas.
  • Use other available options as needed to further customize the layout according to your project requirements.

The editor allows you to fully customize your title block by adding or modifying text, variables, shapes, images, icons, and other elements.

The left panel contains all the available design tools.

Add Dynamic Variables

Expand the Variables section from the left panel.

The available variable categories include:

  • User & Organization
  • Account
  • Contact
  • Project & Design
  • Current Date

These variables automatically populate information in the title block based on the project details entered while creating the project.

To replace an existing variable:

  1. Select the text element containing the variable.
  2. Click the desired variable from the Variables panel.

Configure Paper Size and Orientation

Use the right-side panel to configure the Paper Size and Page Orientation.

The title block automatically adjusts its dimensions based on the selected paper size and orientation, ensuring proper alignment with your drawing.

Save the Title Block

All changes made in the Title Block Editor are saved automatically.

You can also manually save your changes at any time by clicking the Save button.

Go back to Title Block Settings and mark the template as Default.

Apply a Title Block in the X-DRAW Editor

  1. Open your drawing in the X-DRAW Editor.
  2. Click X-DRAW Settings.
  3. Select Title Block Settings and click Add Title Block.

  1. Select the title block you want to use. It will be added to your drawing.
  2. After adding the title block, you can continue editing and updating it directly within the X-DRAW Editor.
