How to add Item description header in Rooms and Items section?

Adding item descriptions to your 'Rooms & Items' section in x.doc can provide more context and clarity about each item in your Bill of Materials (BOM). This can be particularly useful for your clients to understand the specifics of each item. Here's how you can add item descriptions:


Adding Item Descriptions


  • Start by heading to your proposal's 'Rooms & Items' section. Find and click on the 'Show/Hide Details' option on the right side of the page.



  • In the Show/Hide details dialogue box that appears, tick the 'Description' option. After selecting 'Description,' click the 'Save' button to apply the changes.




  • After saving, you will notice that the description column has been added to your BOM, just below each item. This addition provides a more detailed view of your BOM, enhancing your clients' understanding of each item.
