How to add a configurable devices in X-DRAW?

You can add a configurable device to your Bill of Materials (BOM), and it will appear on your drawing along with the port information.

On the BOM page, click on the Configure button next to the name of the item you want to configure.

This will open a configuration modal where you can add cards to your device by clicking on the Card

Click on the ADD button from the drop-down menu to add a card to your device as per your requirement.

The drop-down menu displays all compatible cards for the device from their respective brands from both libraries (XTEN-AV and Your My Library)

If you are unable to find a suitable card in the XTEN-AV library, you can create a custom card by clicking on the Create Card button.

This will lead you to a page where you need to fill in the required fields.

To add port information to your card, select YES in the Add IO information section and click on the Next button.

After adding the cards, all the added cards will appear on the Configuration modal. Click on the Save button.

On the BOM page, you can view the added cards to the device by clicking on the View Components button.

Open your X-DRAW Editor and click on the Pull BOM changes button.

On the X-DRAW editor page, a block will be created with the name of the device, and all the card port information will appear under the block.

Note: Every configurable device added from the XTEN-AV library has a card limit. If you need to add more cards, you can create a custom configurable device by following the steps mentioned in the given link: https://knowledgebase.xtenav.com/en-us/article/how-to-add-a-custom-configurable-device-in-x-draw-g0dbbb/
