How do I re-order the port information from BOM page?

Overview

The Re-order Port Information feature allows you to change the display sequence of ports for a product directly from the BOM page. This helps organize port information in the preferred order before generating drawings.

To edit port information from Search & Add Products page, you first need to copy that product to My Library.
Click on the Copy to my lib button displaying next to the name of the item.

Once you click on it, you will get a notification that your product has been copied to My Library section. You can now reorder the port details.
Click on the Edit button displaying next to the name of the item.

In the Product Details window, use the drag handle (six-dot icon) available on the left side of each port row to drag and drop the ports into the desired order.

Select the Re-draw device? checkbox to regenerate the device drawing with the updated port sequence.
Click Add Product to save the changes.

Important: If you do not select Re-draw device? while saving the changes or do not perform Pull BOM Changes in the drawing, the updated port order will not be reflected in the device drawing.
