How Do I Customize Drawings, Layouts, and Symbols?

Objective

In X-DRAW you can fully customize your AV drawings using the X-DRAW interface. The editor provides flexible tools for arranging layouts, editing symbols, and creating detailed system diagrams.

Customizing Drawings

• Open your project. Navigate to the Drawings section. Launch the X-DRAW editor to begin customizing your design.

• Use the left panel (Scratchpad, Product Blocks, AVIXA Symbols, X-DRAW Symbols) to drag devices like laptops, mixers, amplifiers, and DSPs onto the canvas.

Customizing Layouts

• Grid and Page Settings. From the right-side panel: Enable/disable grid for precise placement, adjust page size and orientation (Portrait/Landscape). Scale drawings to fit your layout.

• Drawing Options, customize visibility settings such as: Hide cable IDs, Hide unused ports/connectors, Allow block resizing.

• Symbol Libraries

Access multiple symbol categories from the left panel:AVIXA Symbols, X-DRAW Symbols, Rack Accessories, Floorplans

Customize Symbols

• Resize and reposition symbols
• Edit connection points and labels
• Replace symbols as needed.
