Does XTEN-AV support supplier-specific currencies?

Overview

XTEN-AV supports multiple currencies, enabling users to create and present proposals in the currency that best suits their clients and project requirements. This flexibility helps organizations manage projects across different regions and markets while maintaining consistent pricing and proposal presentation..

Supplier-Specific Currency Support

XTEN-AV does not assign currencies at the individual supplier level. Instead, currency selection is managed at the proposal level. When creating or editing a proposal, users can select the desired currency, and all pricing within that proposal will be displayed accordingly.

This approach ensures a consistent currency format throughout the proposal and simplifies pricing management for client-facing documents.

How to Change the Currency in a Proposal

Go to the 'Rooms & Items' section and select 'Rooms & Items Settings.'

Locate the Currency option. Select the required currency from the dropdown list. Save the proposal to apply the updated currency.

Verify that all prices in the proposal are now displayed in the selected currency.

Important Notes

  • Currency settings are applied at the proposal level.
  • All pricing displayed within a proposal will follow the selected currency.
  • If a project requires pricing in different currencies, separate proposals or pricing adjustments may be needed before sharing the final proposal with the client.
  • Users should verify the selected currency before generating or sending proposals to ensure pricing is displayed as intended.

Conclusion

XTEN-AV provides flexible multi-currency support to help users create proposals for clients in different regions. While currencies are not assigned to individual suppliers, users can easily select the appropriate currency at the proposal level, ensuring a consistent and professional presentation of project pricing.
