What is Settings Mode in x.doc?

Overview


Settings Mode in X-DOC is used to customize the styling and layout of document sections such as text, tables, pages, helping apply preset styles, adjust formatting elements, and maintain a consistent visual structure across proposals while retaining full control over design preferences and overall document appearance.


  • Open the required proposal or document in the X-DOC editor.
  • Click on the Settings option available left side of the page.



  • The Settings Mode panel will open. On the right panel, choose Preset Style Settings and select TEXT, TABLE, or PAGE based on your requirement.



  • Under the Text settings you can control how text appears in the document.
  • Select formatting options from the Select Your Option, Choose how content should be displayed, such as: Paragraph format for normal content flow or Heading styles for structured sections.


  • Under the Table setting you can configure how tabular data is displayed in the document.
  • Select the required table formatting option.




  • Under the Page settings you can define the overall layout and export preferences for the client PDF.
  • Select the required page format.
  • You can choose which details should be included in the final client PDF.
  • Language translate if you want the document content to be translated into a selected language.



  • Click on Save Changes to apply the updates or Discard Changes to cancel modifications.
