How to Customize the Change Order Prefix Format?

Organizations can customize the Change Order Prefix format to maintain a consistent naming structure for change orders across projects. This helps improve project organization, tracking, and internal documentation standards.

Steps to Customize the Change Order Prefix

From the Main Dashboard, click on the “Settings” option in the top-right profile area.

Once you click on it, you will find the “Project & Proposal Numbering” option under the “Organization Settings” tab.

Here, you can update your Change Order numbering. After making the changes, click on “Update Change Order ID” to save them.

Notes: Changes apply only to newly created Proposals and Change orders. Existing IDs will not be modified retroactively. Only users with Admin or appropriate permissions can update ID settings.
