How can I add port information to my product block in the design?

Overview

Adding port information to a product block allows the system to recognize the connections between devices. This information is essential for generating drawings such as Signal Flow Diagrams and Line Schematics.

Steps to Add Port Information to a Product Block

• To edit port information from 'Search & Add Products' page, you first need to copy that product to My Library. Click on the 'Copy to my lib' button displaying next to the name of the item.

• Once you click on it, you will get a notification that your product has been copied to 'My Library' section. You can now update your product port information. Click on the edit button displaying next to the name of the item.

• To add the port information to your product, click on add port to add the port details.

• Edit the product’s port information, click on “Re-draw Device?” to view the updated ports in the X-DRAW Editor, and then click “Add Product” to save the changes.

Note:- Re-draw Device:- If you select this option any line connected to this block will be deleted and it will be created from scratch.
