How Can I Add Port Information to My Package in X-DRAW?

Overview

In X-DRAW, adding port information to a package allows you to accurately represent connections and generate proper product blocks in your drawings. Once ports are added, the package can be used effectively in schematics and signal routing.


Steps To Add Port Information to My Package


  • To edit port information from 'Search & Add Products' page, you first need to copy that product to My Library. Click on the 'Copy to my lib' button displaying next to the name of the item.


  • Once you click on it, you will get a notification that your product has been copied to 'My Library' section. You can now update your product port information. Click on the edit button displaying next to the name of the item.



  • After clicking on the Edit button, you can modify the product details. Once done, click on the Next button to proceed.


  • After clicking on the Next button, you can add custom package products. If the products are already added, you can update their port details by clicking on the Edit button for the respective product.


  • Once you click on the edit option it will show you the product details, to add the port details you simply need to click on the add port option and click on save button to make the changes.


Notes: Ensure port details are accurate to avoid incorrect connections. Use clear naming conventions for easier identification. Always update/redraw the device after modifying port details.
