How can I add non-rack-mountable items to my rack layout in XTEN-AV?

Overview

In XTEN-AV, some equipment may not be designed to be rack-mounted but still needs to be represented in the rack layout for documentation purposes. You can add these items to the rack layout by placing them in the rack space and adjusting their size accordingly.

Steps to Add Non-Rack-Mountable Items to a Rack Layout

• On the Search & Add Product page, you can edit the product’s rack information. To edit the rack unit,  you need to copy the product to My Library first by clicking on the Copy to My library option.

• Once the product is copied to My Library, click the Edit button displayed next to the item.

• Once you click the Edit option, the product details will be displayed. To update the Rack Unit, click on the Additional Info option.

• After selecting the rack unit, select Add Product to update the rack unit.
