How to edit connector name?
There are two ways to edit connector name.
- Go to "My Library" page where you will find the search product option.
Search your product here and click on the edit button displaying next to the name of the item.
From here you can change the Connector name. Click on the add port.
Once you click on the add port you will find the option to change the connector name. After changing the connector name click on the add product to save the changes.
- To edit product connector name from 'Search & Add Products' page, you first need to copy that product to My Library.
Click on the 'Copy to my lib' button displaying next to the name of the item.
Once you click on it, you will get a notification that your product has been copied to 'My Library' section. You can now update your product port information.
Click on the edit button displaying next to the name of the item.
Edit your product connector name and Click on the 'Re-draw Device?' Option to view the updated port information in your X-DRAW Editor.
Click on the Add product button to save your changes.
Additional Notes:
Re-draw Device Option: Selecting this option will delete any connected lines to the block and recreate them from scratch.
Copy Products: If a product is not available in "My Library," it must be copied from the XTEN Library.
