How to edit a product Selling price on the Rooms & Items page?

Overview


This article explains how to edit the selling price of a product from the Rooms & Items page in X-DOC. Updating the selling price allows you to customize pricing before sharing the proposal with the client.



  • Open your proposal and go to the Rooms & Items page in X-DOC. Navigate to the room that contains the product you want to edit. Locate the product/item whose selling price needs to be updated.



  • Clicking the Edit icon opens the Edit Product Details panel, where you can directly update the product’s selling price.
  • Similarly, click the pencil icon to update the product markup; once you change the selling price, the markup is calculated automatically—then click Save & Close to apply the changes.



  • After you've updated the product details, you can view them under the 'Rooms & Items' Section.



Note: Changes made to the selling price will automatically reflect in the Price Summary and X-DOC document. Make sure you have the required permissions to edit product pricing. Always review the updated price before generating the Client PDF.
