How to clock IN and OUT as a Field User?

Overview


The Clock IN / Clock OUT feature allows Field Users to record their working hours directly against a project. This ensures accurate time tracking for billing, reporting, and payroll purposes.

Field Users can clock in and out using the mobile app or web platform (depending on permissions provided by the admin).


Steps to Clock IN and Clock OUT


  • From the main dashboard, click on your profile logo and select the Switch to Field View User option.



  • Navigate to the Time Tracking / Timesheet section and click on Clock IN.




  • Select the task you are starting, choose the labor type, and click on the Update button to proceed.


  • Once you have finished working on the task, click the Clock Out button at the top to complete the process, which will automatically create a time entry under the Hours tab for the selected task.


Notes: Always clock OUT after completing your work to avoid incorrect time calculations. Ensure you select the correct project before clocking IN. If you forget to clock OUT, you may need admin assistance to adjust the time entry.
