How to Apply Default Connection Start and End Points to X-DRAW Drawings?

Overview:

The Connection Start and End Points settings allow you to customize how the beginning and ending points of cable connections are displayed in your drawings. You can set your preferred marker style as the default, helping you maintain a consistent look across your cable connections and making the drawing easier to read and understand.

Click the Profile icon in the top-right corner of the application, then select Settings from the menu.

On the Settings page, click X-DRAW Settings in the left sidebar to expand the drop-down menu, then select Cable & Signal Settings.

Under Cable Settings, locate the General Settings section, where you will find the Connection Points options.

Under Connection Points, you can define the default marker style shown at each start and end of a cable connection line:

Start – Use the drop-down to choose the style applied to the starting point of the cable.
End – Use the drop-down to choose the style applied to the ending point of the cable.

Once you have configured the Connection Points (Start/End) settings, click the Save button in the top-right corner of the page to apply your changes as the new default.

To see the changes open your drawing in the X-DRAW Editor. Click on X-DRAW Settings on the top menu bar. Under the Cable Settings section, select Pull Cable Settings.

After updating the Pull Cable Settings, click Apply Cable Style to apply the latest style settings. This ensures that the cable styles are updated correctly according to the new configuration.

After applying the cable settings, the Connection Start and End Points will appear according to your selected settings.
