How to Add Time Entry as a Field User?

Overview


Field Users can log their working hours directly in the system to ensure accurate tracking of time spent on projects. Adding time entries helps maintain proper records for project management, billing, and reporting purposes.


Steps to Add a Time Entry


  • On the main dashboard, click on the Profile icon in the top-right corner and select Switch to Field User View from the dropdown menu.



  • Go to the Field User Dashboard and click on the Hours tab located at the bottom of the screen.



  • Click on the Add Time Entry button to create a new time entry.


  • Once clicked, a dialog box will appear. Fill in all the required details and click the Create button to proceed.
  • The entry will then be successfully created and displayed under the Hours tab.



Notes: Make sure you select the correct project before saving the entry. Billable entries will be included in project billing calculations. Depending on permissions, time entries may require approval.
