How to Add a Custom Configurable Device in X-DRAW?

Create a design, using the X-DRAW method, and go to Search & Add Products page. Here you will find the option to add a custom item.

Click on Add Custom Item option.

Select the Single Product option

Fill in the product details as per your requirements. Ensure the Category Type is set to Configurable. This allows you to create:

Configurable Switcher: You can create your own Configurable Switcher by selecting this category type

Configurable Card: You can create your own Configurable Card by selecting this category type to your Products.

Configurable Device: You can create your own Configurable Device by selecting this category type

If you want to add ports information for your custom configurable device, select 'Yes' in add I/O Information. Click on the 'Next' button.

This will open a configuration modal where you can add cards to your device by clicking on the Configurable Card.

Click on the ADD button from the drop-down menu to add a card to your device as per your requirement.

The drop-down menu displays all compatible cards for the device from their respective brands from both libraries (XTEN-AV and Your My Library)

After adding the cards, all the added cards will appear on the Configuration modal. Click on the Save button.

On the BOM page, you can view the added cards to the device.

Open your X-DRAW Editor and click on the Pull BOM changes button.

On the X-DRAW editor page, a block will be created with the name of the device, and all the card port information will appear under the block.

Note: Similarly, you can create Configurable devices in other categories
