How can I add a Miscellaneous Item to a proposal?

**Overview: **

The Miscellaneous Item feature allows users to add custom items to the Pricing Breakdown of a proposal. Users can define the item name, select the applicable category, enter the cost and amount, and optionally sync the amount with the cost. The feature also supports applying discounts and taxes and entering values as either a percentage or fixed amount. Once saved, the Miscellaneous Item is displayed under the Pricing Breakdown section.

Add a Miscellaneous Item

Open the proposal where you want to add the Miscellaneous Item.

Navigate to the Pricing Breakdown section from the left menu.

Under the Pricing Breakdown section, click on Pricing Breakdown Settings.

Under the Miscellaneous section, click on the Add (+) button.

Once you click on the Add (+) button, you will see the option to add a new Miscellaneous Item to your Pricing Breakdown.

Enter the following details:

Name: Enter the name of the item.
Base / Applies To: Select the type of item you want to add from the dropdown menu. You can select Equipment, Labor, Equipment + Labor, or Other, as required.

Cost: Enter the cost of the item.
Amount: Enter the price of the item.

You can enter the Cost and Amount as either a percentage or a specific amount, as required.

You can also enable the Sync Amount with Cost option to automatically sync the Amount with the Cost.

You can also apply a Discount and Tax to the Miscellaneous Item. You can enter the Discount and Tax as either a percentage or a specific amount, as required.

Once you have entered all the required details, click on the Save button.

After saving, the Miscellaneous Item will appear under the Miscellaneous section.

You can add multiple Miscellaneous Items to the proposal by clicking the Add (+) button.

Once you have added all the required Miscellaneous Items, click on the Save and Close button.

The added Miscellaneous Items will now appear under the Pricing Breakdown section. The Total Amount of the Miscellaneous Items will be automatically included in the Pricing Breakdown Total.
