How can a client sign a proposal?

Overview

When a proposal includes a signature element, the client can review the document and add their digital signature directly on the proposal page — no printing, scanning, or third-party e-signature tool required.

  • The client receives an email notification with a link to the proposal once it has been submitted.

  • Clicking the link opens the proposal in the client's web browser. The client scrolls through the proposal to review the project scope, pricing, BOM, and terms before signing.

  • Once the client is ready to approve the proposal, they can click the Sign button in the right panel.

  • Once you click the Sign option, you will be directed to the section where you can add your signature. Click on the Signature field option.

  • After clicking the Signature field, you can select an existing signature or use the drawing option to create your own signature according to your requirements. Once completed click on the Sign option.

  • After clicking the Sign button, you will be prompted to review and accept the Terms and Conditions. Select the checkbox to confirm your acceptance and proceed with the signing process.

  • After completing the signing process, your proposal will be marked as Accepted, and you will be able to view your signature in the same section.

Note:

  • The sender must have added a client signature element to the proposal in the X-Doc editor (via Add Element → Add Signature). If no signature element is present on the document, the client will not see a place to sign.
