What is the difference between accounts and contacts on XTEN-AV?
Accounts represent the customer organizations you work with. An Account serves as the primary customer record where company details are stored and managed.
Contacts are the individual people within that organization. These are the people you connect with for coordination, approvals, scheduling, or purchasing.
One Account can include multiple Contacts.
Accounts and Contacts are linked, so each Contact stays connected to the right customer record.
Let’s understand through some examples
Example
If a customer operates from two locations, create one Account for the organization and then add the right people for each site, such as a manager or coordinator you may need to contact during the project. This helps to keep communication and customer information organized under one record across locations.
