How to share X-Draw settings?

Overview

X-Draw settings help maintain consistency in design preferences and configurations. Superadmins can share these settings with other groups to ensure everyone works with the same defined standards and setup.

  • Click on the Profile icon in the top-right corner of the application. From the menu, select Settings.

  • You will be re-directed to the settings page. Click on X-Draw Settings to access the configuration options.

  • After clicking on it, select the Share Settings option to choose the required groups and apply the same X-Draw configuration across them.

  • From the shared settings page, select the user from the dropdown whose settings you want to share.

  • After selecting the user, choose the groups from the dropdown you want to share these settings with, or select All Groups if required.

  • Please note that you can share Cable & Signal Settings, Border Settings, Paper size & Block settings.
  • Select the X-DRAW settings you want to share.

  • After selecting the settings, click on the Share Settings option to proceed.

  • A confirmation pop-up will appear on the screen stating that "Sharing these settings will replace the existing configuration." Click on Share Settings again to confirm and complete the process.

  • After clicking on it, a notification pop-up will appear on the top-right side of the screen stating "Settings Shared Successfully".

You can also check the shared settings history under the Sharing History option, where you can view:

  • Sharing Scope – the groups with which the settings were shared
  • Settings Shared – the configurations that were shared such as Cable & Signal Settings, Border Settings, Paper size & Block settings
  • Shared On – the date when the settings were shared
