How to get ConnectWise PSA credentials to connect with XTEN-AV

1) Site URL:- The site URL is the address where your ConnectWise instance is hosted. You can find the Site URL when logging into the ConnectWise Manage platform. The URL should include HTTPS. Use this URL to paste in the XTEN-AV’s Site URL field.

2) Company ID:- You can find the Company ID when logging into the ConnectWise Manage platform. Use this Company ID to paste in the XTEN-AV’s Company ID field.



3)** Client ID**: Here’s a general guide for getting the Client ID from connectwise platform

Step 1: Go to the Link:- https://developer.connectwise.com/
Open the URL above to access the ConnectWise Developer Network website and obtain your
Client ID.



Step 2: Please register or log in to the platform. Once you are registered or logged in, click on the CLIENTID section to create your Client ID.



Step 3: Click on the 'Create New Integration' section to create your Client ID. You do not need to create a Client ID again if you've already created one. It will be available on the platform whenever you need it, and you can simply copy it from here, and paste it into the ClientID field on XTEN-AV.



4) Public key and Private key:-

STEPS:- Follow the steps for creating a new member and generating API keys (Public key and Private key) in ConnectWise:

Step 1: Login on the ConnectWise Manage Platform.



Step 2: Creating a New Member in ConnectWise

1) Navigate to Settings: Go to Settings in your ConnectWise dashboard.



2) Access Members: Click on Members and then select API Members.



3) Create a New Member: Click the + sign to create a new member.



4) Fill in Member Details and Save: Enter all required details for the new member. Click the Save button at the top to save the information.



Step 3: Generate API Keys

1) Navigate to API Keys: After saving the member, go to API Keys located in the top right.



2) Create an API Key: Click the + sign to create a new API key.



3) Fill in API Key Details: Enter a description and any other required information.

4) Save the API Key: Click Save. This will automatically generate your Public and Private keys.



5) Store Your Keys Securely: Make sure to save both the Public and Private keys in a secure location. It's crucial to securely store the Private key, as it is unique and essential for accessing the API.
