How to edit a product Selling price on the Rooms & Items page?

This article explains how to edit the selling price of a product from the Rooms & Items page in x.doc. Updating the selling price allows you to customize pricing before sharing the proposal with the client.

Steps to Edit a Selling price

Open your proposal and go to the Rooms & Items page in x.doc. Navigate to the room that contains the product you want to edit.
Locate the product/item whose selling price needs to be updated.

Clicking the Edit icon opens the Edit Product Details panel, where you can directly update the product’s selling price.
Similarly, click the pencil icon to update the product markup; once you change the selling price, the markup is calculated automatically—then click Save & Close to apply the changes.

After you've updated the product details, you can view them under the 'Rooms & Items' Section.

Note: Changes made to the selling price will automatically reflect in the Price Summary and x.doc document. Make sure you have the required permissions to edit product pricing. Always review the updated price before generating the Client PDF.
