How to change labor type to Custom labor?

Introduction

Custom labor in x.doc allows you to add labor costs tailored to specific tasks or rooms. The feature provides flexibility in how you present labor costs in your proposals. Here's how to use it:

Changing to Custom Labor

To change the labor type to Custom Labor:

Navigate to the x.doc Settings.
Select the Custom Labor option under the Settings.



After changing the labor type in the settings, create a new proposal to apply your updated labor settings.

Adding Custom Labor

Once you've created a proposal, a new Custom Labor section will appear below the 'Rooms & Items' section:

Click on "Add Labor" under the Custom Labor section.


In the 'Add Labor' dialogue box that opens, fill in the Labor Description and Daily Rate.



After adding labor, it will appear under the 'Labor Breakdown' section.

To add custom labor to a particular room, select the room under the 'Labor Breakdown' section and follow the same steps.



Changing Labor Type within a Proposal

You can also change the labor type within an individual proposal:

Navigate to the 'Rooms & Items' page.
Click on 'Labor Settings'.



Select the Custom labor option. This will apply the labor setting to your individual proposal.
To view labor costs by room, select 'Room Wise' from 'Custom Labor Preferences'.
Click on 'Save & Close' to apply your changes.
