How do I turn a proposal into a project?
The Transfer to X-DRAW feature allows users to convert an existing proposal into a project.
- Navigate to the X-Doc dashboard from the left navigation menu.
- Under the Proposals section, locate the proposal you want to convert.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the proposal card. From the dropdown menu, select Transfer to X-DRAW.
- Click the Unlink button to remove the existing project link so the proposal can be transferred again.
- Once transferred, you can start creating designs and drawings in X-DRAW. After making the required changes, you can link the proposal to the project again.
- On the X.DOC dashboard page, click Link to a Project under the Action icon ( ⋮ )
- After clicking the option, the Link Project to Document dialog box will open. Select the required project from the drop-down menu.
- Once you have selected the project, click the Link button to to finalize the process and successfully link the document to the selected project.
- Go to the linked project to verify, the proposal appears on the right-hand side of the project page.
Once the proposal is successfully transferred, a project is created in X-DRAW, allowing you to proceed with project design and documentation. A proposal can only be linked to one X-DRAW project at a time.
