# What Types of Layouts Can I Upload and Customize for Creating Floor Plans?

**Overview**

In **X-DRAW**, you can upload layout files to create and customize **floor plans** for your AV projects. These layouts act as a base drawing that allows you to place rooms, equipment, and other design elements accurately within your project.

**Supported** **Layout** **Types**

You can upload the following types of layout files when creating floor plans:
* **PDF files** – Commonly used architectural or building layout drawings.
* **Image files** – Formats such as **SVG**, **JPG** and **PNG**.
* **CAD drawings** – Such as **DWG and DXF** files.
