# What is the ideal throw distance for a projector?

You can find the ideal throw distance for a projector based on your requirements. Please follow the steps below to determine the ideal throw distance for a projector.
* Click on the **menu icon** located in the top-left corner of the screen. From the navigation panel, select the **AV Tools** option under **Tools & Support**. Then, click on the **Projector Throw Calculator** to proceed.

* Once you click on it, you will be redirected to the **Projector Throw Distance Calculator** page, where you can find the ideal disctance for a projector as per your requirements by simply entering few details and click on the **Submit** button to proceed.
