# What happens if I update my BOM after creating a drawing?

**Overview**
If you update the BOM after creating the drawing, the drawing will not automatically sync with the BOM. As a result, any newly added items will not be reflected in the drawing.


* Enter the product name in the search bar and add the required products as needed. Once you have added the products, click on **Edit Drawing** to open the drawing.

You will be redirected to the **X-DRAW Editor**. Click on the **Pull BOM Changes** button to view and apply the updates made in the BOM to your X-DRAW Editor.
