# What happen with my drawing when i convert my design to Area-wise?

When you convert your design to **Area-Wise**, the system restructures your drawing to organize the design by individual areas. This helps in managing large or complex designs more efficiently by separating different sections of the design.

**Key Changes After Converting to Area-Wise**

**Multi-Tab Structure is Created**
Your existing drawing is automatically converted into a **multi-tab view**, where each tab represents a specific area of the design. This allows you to work on different sections of the design independently while keeping the overall design organized.

**Existing Connections Are Reset**
During the conversion process, all previously created **connections between devices or components are reset**. This occurs because the system restructures the design based on areas, which may change how elements are organized within the design.
