# What are Avixa Symbols?

**AVIXA symbols** are standardized visual representations used in AV (Audio-Visual) system design to depict various components, equipment, and connections.
They are part of the **AVIXA (formerly Info Comm) standards**, ensuring consistency and clarity in AV schematics across different designers, projects, and organizations.

* Open your drawing in the X-DRAW Editor. In the left-hand menu, select **“AVIXA Symbols.”**  From there, you can insert the required symbols into your drawing as per your requirement.
