# How to view Plates & Panels?

**Overview**

This article explains how to access the **Plates & Panels** document in XTEN-AV. The Plates & Panels document provides detailed information about the faceplates and panels used in your project.

* Open the project and navigate to the design for which you want to view **Plates & Panels**. Hover over the design and click **View Docs.**

* You will be redirected to the **Design Documents** page. Navigate to the **Plates & Panels** card.
* Hover over it and click on the **eye icon** to access it.

* You will be redirected to the editor page where you can make the required changes.
