# How to update the Status of product in X-pro project?

**Overview**

You can update the status of a product within an **X-Pro project** to track progress and manage project components more effectively.

* From the **X-PRO** section in the left navigation menu, click **Install** to expand the menu, then select **Dashboard**.

* Open the required **X-Pro project**.

* Go to the **Inventory** section within the project.

* Locate and select the product whose status you want to update. Update the status as needed from the available options.
