# How to show or hide the description in Payment Schedule in X-DOC?

**Overview**

In X-DOC, the Payment Schedule section allows you to define structured payment milestones within a proposal. You can also control the visibility of the description field based on your requirement. This helps you either display additional payment-related details or keep the section clean and minimal.

**Steps to Show the Description**

* Open the required Proposal and navigate to the **Payment Schedule** section.

* Click on the **three-dot (Action) icon** within the Payment Schedule section.

* Click on the **Show Description** option.

* The description field will be shown in the Payment Schedule section.

**Steps to Hide the Description**

* Click the **three-dot (Action) icon** and select **Hide Description** to hide the field.

* The description field will be hidden in the Payment Schedule section.
