# How to reset Cable ID from the drawing?

* **Overview:**

The **Cable ID** feature helps you quickly assign or update cable IDs across your drawing. If you need to remove existing cable IDs and generate them again after completing your cable connections, you can use **Remove Cable ID** and **Number All** to refresh the cable numbering efficiently.

* Click on the 'X-DRAW Settings' option from the top menu. Under the 'Cable Settings' option, click on the 'Remove Cable ID' option. This will remove all the cable IDs present in your drawings.
