# How to Re-order items in Rooms & Items section?

**Introduction**

Reordering items in the Rooms & Items section allows you to organize products or elements in a preferred sequence within an X-DOC  document for better structure and clarity.

* Navigate to the **Rooms & Items** section in your proposal editor and find the item you want to reorder.

* Click and hold the drag icon next to the item, then move it up or down to the desired position, then release the item to set the new order.

* After reordering, the new sequence of items will be reflected in your X-DOC editor and the client PDF.
