# How to move a x.doc document to Archive? 

**Introduction**

Archiving a document in x.doc lets you organize your workspace by moving inactive or completed proposals to a separate location

* Navigate to the **x.doc Documents** page for the proposal you want to archive, click the **Action menu (three dots ⋮)**

* Select **Archive** to move the document to the archive section.

**Viewing Archived Documents**

* To view your archived proposals, click **Archive** from the right-hand side of the **x.doc dashboard**.

* Once you click on the **Archive** option, you will be taken to the Archive page, where you can view all your archived **x.doc documents.**

**Restoring Archived Documents**

* To retrieve a proposal from the archive, click the **Action** menu for the document and select **Restore.**
