# How to mark a template as default? 

**Introduction**

You can set a default template for your x.doc documents. This feature allows you to maintain a consistent format across all your proposals, saving time and ensuring a professional appearance. Here's how you can do it:

**Setting a Default x.doc Template**

1. Click on the 'x.doc templates' option under the 'Templates' option from the left navigation menu.

2. Once you click on that, it will lead you to the template page, where you can mark your saved template as default under the 'My Templates' option.

3. Hover on the template you want to mark as default and click the 'Mark as default' button under the ( **⋮** ) icon.
