# How to Make a Copy of x.doc documents?

**Introduction**

If you frequently work with similar proposals in x.doc, making a copy of an existing proposal can save you a significant amount of time. This feature allows you to duplicate a proposal and modify the copy as needed, preserving the original document. Here's how you can do it:

**Copying a Proposal**

* On the x.doc dashboard page, navigate to the document you want to duplicate.

* Click on the "Action" option denoted as three dots, then choose the "Make a Copy" option from the dropdown menu.

* A dialog box will appear. Here, enter the name for the new document and click on the "Save" button.

**Editing the Copied Proposal**

* After saving, you'll be redirected to the x.doc editor page where you can start modifying your new document.
