# How to edit the Task Stages in X-PRO?

This article explains how to change the stage of a task in X-PRO. Updating a task’s stage helps track progress and ensures proper workflow management within your project.

**Steps** **to** **Change** **a** **Task’s** **Stage**

* Please navigate to the **X-Pro Dashboard** and click on the **project name** whose task stage you would like to update.

* Click the **Stage** button located in the top the screen to update the task’s stage.

| Notes: Ensure you have the required permissions to update task stages. Stage changes are reflected in real-time for all project members.
