# How to Edit the Task details?

**Overview**

This article explains how to edit a task’s details in X-Pro. You can update task information such as the title, description, assignee, due date, priority, and stage to keep your project information accurate and up to date.

* From the **X-PRO** section in the left navigation menu, click **Install** to expand the menu, then select **Dashboard**.

* Open the Project you would like to edit or update.

* Click on the **Task** button to proceed.

* Locate the task you want to edit, click on the **three dots (⋮)** next to it, and select the **Edit** option.

* A dialog box will appear. Update the required details and click on the **Update Task** button to save your changes.

| Notes: Ensure you have the required permissions to update task stages. Stage changes are reflected in real-time for all project members.
