# How to edit task stages in X-PRO?

**Overview**

You can edit task stages in **X-PRO** to customize your project workflow and better manage task progress.

* Navigate to the **X-PRO dashboard** from the left navigation menu.

* Open the required **X-PRO project** .

* Click on the **Task** option from the left navigation menu.

* Locate the task, click on the **three dots**, and then select the **Edit Stage** option.

* Make the required changes and click on **Update Stage** to save the changes.
