# How to Edit Product Information from My Library?

**Overview**

The **Edit Product in My Library** feature allows you to quickly update product information and pricing directly from your **My Library**. You can edit products using either **Spreadsheet View** for quick inline updates or **List View** when you need to access and update additional product details.

There are **two ways** to edit a product in My Library:

**Option 1: Edit a Product Using Spreadsheet View**

1. Navigate to **My Library** from the left navigation panel of the dashboard.

2. The **My Library** page opens in **Spreadsheet View**, where you can view your products in a spreadsheet-style format.
3. Locate the product you want to update.
4. Double-click the field you want to edit, such as **Model Number**. The selected field will become editable.

5. Enter the updated information.
6. Click anywhere outside the field. The changes will be **saved automatically**.

**Fields Editable in Spreadsheet View**

You can update the following product fields directly from Spreadsheet View:  Brand Name, Model Number, Category, Product Type, Description, MSRP. Dealer Price, Sell Price, Part Number, Internal Code, Image Link, Spec Link, Port Info, Per Item Labor, Rack Unit

**Option 2: Edit a Product Using List View**

You can also switch from **Spreadsheet View** to **List View** to edit product information through the product details window.

1. On the **My Library** page, switch from **Spreadsheet View** to **List View**.

2. Use the **Product Search** option to find the product you want to update.
3. Click the **Edit** button next to the product name.

4. The product details window will open. Scroll down to the **Add More Details** section.
5. Click **+ Add Price** to add or update pricing information.

6. In the **Pricing Information** section, enter the required:

* **MSRP**
* **Dealer Price**
* **Sell Price**

7. Click **Add Product** to save the changes.

8. Once saved, the product's pricing information will be displayed next to the product name.

**Important Note**

* If the product you want to edit is not available in **My Library**, you must first copy the product from the **XTEN Library** to **My Library**.
